From Kirkwall Airport approx. 7.5 miles

Turn left out of airport terminal on A960 continue on this road now the B9050 past the Deerness Stores and the Deerness Community Hall then take the next road to the left for approx 0.2 miles then turn right on to new road to Millhill.

From Northlink Ferry Stromness

Follow signs to Kirkwall, at Ayre Filling Station take right turn at roundabout on to Pickaquoy road past Tesco and turn right at mini roundabout on to Junction Road then turn left up Clay Loan, at the top turn right on to  Bignold Park Road (A960) sign posted to Airport which is 3 miles. Continue on A960 past Airport for further 7 miles now the B9050 past the Deerness Stores and the Deerness Community Hall then take next left for approx. 0.2 miles and turn right on to new road to Millhill.

From Northlink Ferry Kirkwall

On exit from terminal turn left towards Town center at Ayre filling station roundabout take 2nd exit past Tesco and turn right at mini roundabout on to Junction Road then turn left up Clay Loan, at top turn right (A960) sign posted to Airport which is 3 miles. Pass the Airport and continue for further 7 miles now on the B9050 past the Deerness Stores and Deerness Community Hall then take the next left for approx. 0.2 miles and turn right on to new road to Millhill.

From Pentland Ferries, St.Margaret's Hope

From St Margaret’s Hope take the A961 towards Kirkwall. Cross all four of the Churchill Barriers. Immediately at the end of the fourth barrier turn right onto the B9052, following signs to Deerness. Turn right at the T- junction with the A960, which eventually becomes the B9050. You will pass Deerness Stores on your left, then continue past the Deerness Community Hall on the left, take next left for approx 0.2 miles and turn right on to sign posted to Millhill.
